Dearsens Covid-19 Antigen Rapid Test Kit is used to qualitatively detect the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) antigen in human saliva samples in vitro. It can be used for rapid investigation of suspected novel coronavirus cases, and can also be used as a reconfirmation method for nucleic acid detection in discharged cases.

The main component of the product is a test card, which is composed of plastic card, absorbent tip and test strip. The test strip is made of nitrocellulose membrane. The detection area is coated with new coronavirus monoclonal antibody 2; the quality control area is coated with goat anti-mouse IgG antibody and rabbit anti-chicken IgY antibody.

1. Remove the blue cover to reveal the tip of test card

2. Put the tip of the test into your mouth and keep your tongue tight on the tip for two minutes

3. Put the blue cover back

4. Place the test card horizontally and wait for 15-30 minutes before you read the result

1. Positive result: Both the test line (T) and the control line (C) show color bands as the picture shows below, indicating that COVID-19 antigen is positive.

2. Negative result: If only the quality control line C develops color and the test line (T) does not develop color, the COVID-19 antigen is not detected and the result is negative or the content is lower than the minimum detection limit of the product, as the picture shows below.

3. Invalid result: No color band appears on the quality control line (C), and it is judged as an invalid result regardless of whether the detection line (T) shows color band or not, as the picture shows below

In order to evaluate the diagnostic performance, this study used COVID-19-positive specimens from 120 individuals and COVID-19-negative specimens from 400 individuals. These specimens were tested and confirmed by the RT-PCR method. The results are as follows:
